Meet our founder

Catherine Grainger, Founder and CEO of Choose Consulting has an esteemed career in both operational and strategic marketing. Starting her career in finance and software organizations, she then dedicated 23 years to 3M, a global, dynamic Fortune 100 company, in which Catherine’s strong career trajectory incorporated UK, EMEA and Global roles in Strategic Planning, Marketing Excellence, Learning and Development and Employee Engagement.

Catherine became renowned at 3M for her strong leadership and facilitation skills, engaging and up-skilling marketing, sales and other functional teams across diverse markets and segments including Health Care, Electronics, Transportation, Industrial and Consumer Businesses. In 2021, her career was highlighted in the book ‘Wonder Women: Inspiring Stories and Insightful Interviews with Women in Marketing ‘ by Giles Lury and Katy Mousinho.  In 2024 Catherine left 3M to set up Choose Consulting, enabling her skills to reach a much wider audience.

Choose virtual ‘bite-size’ training

Choose Consulting has developed a series of ‘off the shelf’ soft skills virtual trainings which are ready to deliver in your organization. Just choose the topic you’d like us to deliver, and book a dedicated training slot from only £500+VAT per training*.(Max 12 attendees) It’s a great way to trial working with us that will deliver immediate results at a low investment.

Choose a bespoke approach

We can develop bespoke training ranging from 1 hour virtual sessions, to 1-2 day F2F ‘deep dives’ into soft skills topics. These trainings will be crafted for your organization/brand and based on your needs, and costs start from £3200. Contact us and tell us what the gap is and how we can help.

Choose coaching

Need a strong facilitator for group coaching? We offer one hour group coaching sessions – either general performance coaching or on a topic of your choice: From £500+VAT per session (up to 12 attendees).

Choose to deep dive

Not literally diving (though you can if you want!). But going deep into a topic in your organization, like resilience, productivity or engagement. We’ll work with you to measure a baseline for your topic, via quantitative research and qualitative interviews and focus groups, to gather the true ‘voice’ of your organization. We’ll crunch the data and collect the themes, and present them back to you, in an insightful and clear report. We’ll then run a F2F or virtual workshop with your key stakeholders, to share and analyze the data, and together develop a great plan to move things forward. From £2500 for a ‘Lite Audit’
